Your Hard Work Will Pay Off

Most of us go through hard work. Whether it may be a job, doing a project, helping out someone, or just taking on each day. It's important we recognize those things because it's our efforts that make us who we are. Anything we do is worth the celebration and there isn't a reason to not. Someone once told me that hard work is important and it's the effort no matter how big or small, that's what makes us, us.

For one being a parent is hard already. You get up every morning, get the kids ready, drop off people where they are needed, then take on your day. Day by day I know that there are times when you question your efforts. You feel like the day is repeating and you don't know how to stop it. You try something new and try to take on a new perspective. I may not be a parent but as a student, there are days when it feels like that. But it's important that even if nobody tells you, you are doing the best possible thing. 

Personally, there are times when I feel like I'm not living my life enough. I mean, I'm a college student who spends all day going to work, school, then doing homework, sleep, and repeat. I know that my life may not seem too bad compared to others. I know my parents would work all day trying to get through life and save for their family. But recognizing the work we do is important. 

"Effort makes you, You will regret someday if you don't do your best now. Don't think it's too late but keep working on it. It takes time, but there's nothing that gets worse due to practicing. So practice. You may get depressed, but it's evidence that you are doing good" (Jeon Jungkook). 

It's those efforts that make us who we are. I know that I don't know the struggles of my own family, but I know they do what they can. However, something to help our efforts will come from the Lord. When we have someone above us who is looking at us, that's the person we want to look to. I know that there are times when many people forget He is there. For me, there are a lot of times when I forget someone is looking over me. But in order to get those blessings and help, we must put in the same effort. 

As for the Lord, He doesn't ask of much. In fact, as long as you are being a good person, He knows you are doing your best. So it's important we pay attention to what we do. Standing up for Him is also important because it gives the same mutual trust. He is more than willing to help each of us. There isn't a reason why he wouldn't. Being a parent something you can start by doing is teaching your children the doctrines of the Lord and starting them off the right way. 

No matter how hard life gets, we have someone. For those who sometimes forget He is there, finds another person who can give that to you. Someone who will remind you of the Savior and help you remember who you are. Our efforts shouldn't change us. I know that for me in order to keep going, music is my escape. Even if you may not show your efforts, you know it. "When things get hard, stop for a while and look back and see you far you've come. Don't forget how rewarding it is. You are the most beautiful flower, more than anyone else in this world" (Kim Taehyung).
