Hello! My name is Brianna Hilario and it may be my first time blogging but, I have so many experiences to share! We will find that life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain. Notice the Sacrifice

No matter how big or little, your parents have made sacrifices for you. I know that personally, mine has made a ton for me and my siblings. This week in class we had a discussion about immigration. Now, this topic hits close to home for me.  I wasn't the one necessarily going through the experience since I was born in California; however, my parents made this sacrifice when they were about my age.  First, let me tell you a bit about what I know about my parent's story. My dad came to the United States when he was around 17 to 18 years old. He came here with his brother and sister but the journey was rough. Luckily for them, they had some family already here but that didn't make the journey any easier. He had enough money to get them through and from then they had to figure out how to meet up with their family. Don't Let Your Family Fall Apart

Being a member of the church for my whole life, I don't hear about many people who have parents of divorce. However, I'm originally from California divorce seemed to be normal. I personally have a family member who has been divorced for unknown reasons. Now I'm not saying divorce is a bad thing, in fact, I think that there are times when it is deemed necessary. Also, there are times when even though it might be bad at the moment, something else comes out of it. I know for me if my uncle didn't get divorced I wouldn't have the amazing aunt I have now. But for now, let us talk about some ways you could possibly save yourself from divorce, the effects on the family, and how to improve your own life.  Just to clarify, divorce is nothing to be ashamed of and if anyone makes you think that way then they don't understand the position you're in.
